PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction cooking container used as a package container when an object to be heated such as a frozen or refrigerated food product is distributed in the market, directly, readily, and safely used as a steamer for a commercial electromagnetic cooker by a consumer, and allowing steam-cooking of the object to be cooked at appropriate conditions without operating a device. SOLUTION: When the object 6 to be cooked is cooked by steam in a container, which is generated by heating an induction heating body 3 making contact with water 7 poured into a container body 2 so as to heat and boil the water 7: after the steam is generated, the water 7 is made to partially flow into a hollow portion 8 formed by opening an opening portion 8a by the heat of boiled water 7 to lower the level of the water 7, so that the induction heating body 3 is partially raised upward relative to the water surface.
