A window opening structure of a vehicle door, wherein an upwardly extended part (U) is formed upward from the rear side upper end of a door panel part (3) and a window opening is formed by a sash part (4) and the upwardly extended part (U). A rear window opening partitioned by a center sash (5) is covered by a fixed panel material (7), and the lower part and the rear part of the rear window opening are formed as a curved opening peripheral edge part (r). The peripheral edge parts of the fixed panel material are held by a holding part (231), and a weather strip (23) is fitted to the curved opening peripheral edge part (r). Furthermore, a vehicle inside lip (236) covering the end part of a vehicle inside trim (22) is formed extendedly from the vehicle inside end edge of the holding part (231), and a vehicle outside lip (237) allowing its tip to come into contact with the outer wall surface of the curved opening peripheral edge part (r) of an outer panel (8) is formed extendedly from the vehicle outer end edge of the holding part. |
