A burnishing device of a seat rail for vehicles is provided to obtain smooth movement of lower rails and upper rails in a short time by reciprocating the lower rail on the upper rails several times with a reciprocation drive unit. A burnishing device of a seat rail for vehicles comprises a fixing block unit(2), a slide unit(3), and a reciprocation drive unit(4). The slide unit includes a lift plate and a moving unit. The fixing block unit fixes an upper rail(11) of a seat rail(10). The slide unit slides a lower rail(12) of the seat rail on the upper rail. The reciprocation drive unit gives drive force reciprocating the lower rail directly to the lower rail. The slide unit is supported by support frame(31a,31b) set on a base(5). The slide unit holds the lower rail of the seat rail to prevent the lower rail from moving out of the upper rail, and presses the lower rail with conditions equal to real situation. The reciprocation drive unit is mounted on the base and provided with a main body and a motor(M). The main body is fastened to the support frame by a fastening member.
