<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a retainer for a flat-cable connector capable of preventing external force from acting on a terminal connection part between a connection terminal and a flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: A connection terminal 7 connected to the flat cable is inserted into terminal storage chambers 11A, 11B of a connector housing 10 to be prevented from falling off. A retainer 18 is provided having a retainer body 17 to be inserted into the terminal storage chambers of the connector housing, a pressing part 19 for pressing the flat cable in the terminal storage chambers is provided at the retainer body 17. The retainer body 17 has a flat-cable retaining member 22 of a required length protruded outside the connector housing set in continuation, and the flat cable guided out from the terminal storage chamber is set along the flat-cable retaining member 22, bound with the flat-cable retaining member 22 by an adhesive tape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
