PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool which can suppress the occurrence of burrs by a finishing blade for cutting the machined surface cut by a cutting blade so as to sweep it, and also can prevent the chipping of the finishing blade, and further to provide a finishing blade insert thereof. SOLUTION: In the cutting tool 10, inserts 30 are detachably attached on the attaching seats 14 provided on the outer periphery of the tip end side of a tool body 11 to be turned about an axis O. The finishing blade inserts 40 having finishing blades 44 located inside the outer peripheral blades of the inserts 30 on the radially inside of the tool body 11 and further located on the tip end side of the tool body 11 than facing blades are arranged in the tool body 11. The finishing blades 44 are set so as to have an axial rake angleαwithin 0°to 30°. The finishing blade inserts 40 have chamfered portions formed so as to cross the finishing blades 44 at an obtuse angle viewed from the front side of the turning direction T of the tool and also so as to cross the finishing blades 44 at an obtuse angle viewed from the tip end side of the tool body 11.
