A method for manufacturing a fingerprint recognition device is provided to protect water from flowing into a PCB though water permeates through a gap between a prism exposed to a front face and a main body. A method for manufacturing a fingerprint recognition device comprises the following several steps. Waterproof material gets covered at a support part which supports a lower circumference of a prism to be inserted into a space of a main body(S200). The prism gets inserted into the space of the main body(S210). Waterproof material gets covered at a gap between a partial circumference of the back face of the prism and the main body(S220). The waterproof material is an adhesive hardened by ultraviolet rays.
