<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game program and a game device capable of reducing false recognition of the kind of acceleration input. <P>SOLUTION: A game system 10 includes the game device 12 and a controller 14 which has an acceleration sensor for detecting the acceleration in at least two axial directions. The game process is executed according to the kind of the acceleration input using the controller 14. For determining the kind, the reference timing indicating the timing when the acceleration in a first axial direction is lower than a threshold to be the minimum value is detected, and whether the angle between acceleration changing vectors before and after the reference timing is at least a prescribed angle or not is determined. When the angle is not more than the prescribed angle, it is determined that the acceleration input is in either one of the two axial directions, when the angle is at least the prescribed angle, the acceleration input is the acceleration input in the direction including components in the two axial directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
