<p>Producing a correctly folded and assembled full-length antibody comprises culturing a periplasmatic protein-secreting Escherichia colistrain and separating the antibody from the culture medium. The Escherichia colistrain comprises a gene coding for the antibody heavy chain and a gene coding for the antibody light chain, each linked to a signal sequence.
