<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint sensor unit and a fingerprint collation device for further reducing the size, and for more accurately creating fingerprint data with data quantity sufficient for fingerprint collation. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical finger insertion region 5 into which the finger is inserted in reading fingerprint is arranged inside a cylindrical finger support part 2 which supports the finger in reading fingerprint. Also, the fingerprint support part 2 is provided with a lower opening 6 and an upper opening 7. The lower opening 6 is arranged so that the fingerprint section of the finger inserted into the fingerprint insertion region 5 can be aligned. A light source part 3 is arranged at the side of the finger insertion region 5 configured to emit the rays of light transmitted through the finger of the finger insertion region 5, and passing through the lower opening 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
