<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management apparatus capable of automatically setting equipment connected to a network, a management program and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In a network system 1, a server SV retrieves pieces of equipment KM1 to KMn on the network NW, registers the equipment information of the detected pieces of equipment KW1 to JMn in a management database in which the equipment information of the pieces of equipment KM1 to KMn, management information necessary for the management of the pieces of equipment KM1 to KMn and setting information made to correspond to the management information are to be registered, acquires the setting information corresponding to the management information from the management database on the basis of the management information of the detected pieces of equipment KM1 to KMn, and transmits the acquired setting information to the detected pieces of equipment KM1 to KMn to register the setting information to the pieces of equipment KM1 to KMn.
