摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology enabling sufficient exhaust gas recirculation even during acceleration of an internal combustion engine, in an exhaust gas recirculation device recirculating exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine to an intake system by using high pressure EGR and low pressure EGR in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas recirculation device for the internal combustion engine recirculates exhaust gas by using the high pressure EGR when demand load of the internal combustion engine is low, by using the low pressure EGR when demand load of the internal combustion engine is high, and by using the low pressure EGR and the high pressure EGR in parallel in a region near border of a region in which demand load of the internal combustion engine is low and a region in which demand load of the internal combustion engine is high. When an operation condition of the internal combustion engine is in the region where the high pressure EG and the low pressure EGR are used in parallel and in an acceleration condition, the low pressure EGR is controlled by feed back control and quantity of exhaust gas recirculated by the high pressure EGR is controlled by open loop control to adjust acceleration time high pressure EGR quantity to a predetermined quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
