A lighting apparatus is provided to prevent a luminance stain by not forming an interval between the lighting apparatus and an LED(Light Emitting Diodes) with the same color and prevent deterioration of luminance by not reducing the number of elements per color. A lighting apparatus(2) includes an imaging light transmitting unit(1) passing through an imaging optical axis(CX) facing from an imaging device(C) to a subject(W). On the lighting apparatus, an LED(Light Emitting Diodes) light source device is mounted to irradiate a plurality kinds of LED lights(6R,6G,6B) with different light emitting wavelengths from a light emitting surface(8) in a lighting optical axis direction by scattering the LED lights with a light guiding body(7). The light guiding body has a plurality of light guiding plates(9R,9G,9B) with the light emitting surface to face the lighting optical axis. Each of the light guiding plates is mounted with LEDs at a predetermined pitch on a plane perpendicular to the light emitting surface. The LEDs are arranged for the combination of the light emitting wavelengths to be identical for each of rows in the lighting optical axis direction. |
