An apparatus and a method for recording and reproducing multiplex broadcasting data by using an UWB(Ultra Wide Band) are provided to enable a telematics terminal to multiplex various types of data in a PPDU(Presentation Protocol Data Unit) format of the UWB, transmit the data to a UWB storage device to record the data, and select and reproduce an arbitrary type of data that a user wants. If a multiplex broadcasting record mode is set according to a request of a user, a telematics terminal displays a list of source data that the user can selects(S10,S11). If the user selects and designates plural source data, the telematics terminal selects each source data corresponding to the selected plural source data(S12,S13). After transmitting a record command for requesting a recording operation to a UWB storage device, a header and each broadcasting frame are configured in a format suitable for a PPDU of the UWB and transmitted(S16). After that, the UWB storage device stores the transmitted data in a storage.
