<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the number of window for setting effects in music software DTM (desk top music) which operates on a personal computer. <P>SOLUTION: Setting/displaying region of the effects are combined into a single window for each part. A setting window 110, shown in Fig., is constituted of setting racks 112, 114 and 116 for setting/displaying a plurality of effects which are applied to the same channel.
