<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that is simple and small in size and makes it possible to reduce common mode noise. <P>SOLUTION: Capacitors 13, 14 having a capacitance several times the stray capacitance between a load 6 and a ground 9 are respectively connected between the R phase of an alternating-current power supply 1 and the P phase of a single-phase PFC rectifier 4, and between the S phase of the alternating-current power supply 1 and the N phase of the single-phase PFC rectifier 4. A leakage current passed through the stray capacitance due to potential fluctuation that occurs astride switching of the single-phase PFC rectifier 4 is shunted to the alternating-current power supply 1 through the capacitors 13, 14.
