PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle speed subjected to gear change according to the driving state. SOLUTION: An ECU executes the program including step (S200) of setting a lower limit guard value that is a vehicle speed higher than an upshift line in a gear change diaphragm when a reacceleration flag is ON (YES in S130); step (S210) of determining whether to perform upshift or not based on the lower limit guard value so that upshift is performed at a vehicle speed of the lower limit guard value or more; and step (S220) of performing upshift when execution of upshift is determined (YES in S210).
