<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel storage gel for a fuel cell enhanced in versatility by expanding the range for selecting material usable for gelatinization; and to provide a fuel storage gel for a fuel cell capable of balancing high fuel storage power with high fuel extraction efficiency, excelling in handleability and safety, and capable of enhancing fuel extraction yield, and of preventing mixture of a side product and impurities into a re-liquefied fuel as needed. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel storage gel is used for including, swelling and gelatinizing a fuel gelatinization resin formed of a cationic polymer electrolyte, and a methanol fuel. The fuel storage gel for a fuel cell can release the methanol fuel in a gelatinized substance by generating reliquefying ions by addition of a reliquefying ion generation agent to make the reliquefying ions coexist with the polymer electrolyte to form salts of both of them, and contracting the fuel gelatinization resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
