PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device which limits programs to be viewed by a user by a display method of an electronic program table. SOLUTION: A control part 2 judges whether viewing-restricted programs meeting contents of read condition information exist in an EPG or not. When viewing-restricted programs are judged to exist in the EPG, the control part 2 inhibits display of information relating to the viewing-restricted programs. Then, the control part 2 instructs an image composition part 6 to display the EPG on a display part 32, Thus, an image of the EPG shown in, for example, Figure 5 is displayed on the display part 32 in a step S6. In this manner, information relating to the viewing-restricted programs in the EPG is not displayed on the display part 32. The user therefore cannot select channels of the viewing-restricted programs by using the EPG. Thus, viewing of programs required to be viewing-restricted can be restricted.
