<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breaking of a device caused by turning-on of a power source by a constitution that the device is connected to lines having different voltage specifications. <P>SOLUTION: This power source control device comprises a main power source 120b, an auxiliary power source 120a, a control means the power of which is supplied from the auxiliary power source, and a commercial power source voltage detection means. The control means is equipped with an on-off means of the main power source. A voltage specification of the auxiliary power source of a basic device is of a wide input specification. The control means is equipped with a means for identifying the voltage specification of the main power source, and the identification means judges compatibility between the voltage specification of the main power source and the voltage of the commercial power source. The control means judges good or bad of the turning-on of the main power source from the result, and then turns on the power of the main power source only when the compatibility is confirmed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
