PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nipper having a high convenience, which can cut a specified length of a conductive wire by requiring no much labor and a long working period of time. SOLUTION: This nipper 10 for cutting the conductive wire 1 is equipped with a pair of blade sections 20, a pair of pivotally attaching sections 40, a pivot section 60, and an extended section 80. In this case, the pair of blade sections 20 are formed in such a manner that a pair of blades 22 may face each other. Each of the pair of pivotally attaching sections 40 is connected with each blade section 20 in such a manner that the relative movement is impossible. The pivot section 60 pivotally supports the pivotally attaching sections 40 in a manner to be rotatable. The extended section 80 is formed on one of the blade sections 20, and has a contact section 82 with which the end section of the conductive wire 1 comes into contact. The extended section 80 is provided at a position where a projection line for which a contact line 24 is projected to the extended section 80 in a right-angled direction to the contact section 82.
