PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of obtaining high traction performance. SOLUTION: A center circumferential groove 14 is arranged on the tire equator surface CL of a tread 12, and first lateral grooves 20 and second lateral grooves 22 set at a smaller angle against the tire axial direction than that of the first lateral grooves 20 are arranged between the shoulder circumferential grooves 18 on both sides of the center circumferential groove 14, and one end of the first lateral groove 2 and one end of the second lateral groove 22 are joined in the shoulder circumferential groove 18, and a shoulder lateral groove 23 is arranged to be extended outside in the shoulder circumferential groove 18 from the joint part to the tread end 12E and set at a smaller angle against the tire axial direction than the first lateral groove 20.
