发明名称 MICROWAVE APPLIED ADSORPTIVE ETHANOL DRYING APPARATUS AND ITS OPERATION METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE: An adsorbing drier of ethanol using microwave and operating method thereof is provided, which can regenerate adsorbent at a temperature lower than the existing process and in a shortened time, thus saving energy consumption. The energy of microwave is used for enhancing motion of adsorbate rather than heating adsorbent, thus enabling the regeneration to be conducted at lower temperature. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a microwave generator(1), a microwave guide(2), a switching wave guide(3), a wave guide(4), a vacuum pump(22) and an adsorbing tower(13). Through the adsorbing tower(13) which is filled with zeolite 4A or 3A and is surrounded by wave guide(4) that is communicated with the microwave guide(2) to receive microwave generated from the microwave generator(1), azeotropic compound of ethanol (92-95 wt.%) and water pass, leaving the water adsorbed and the ethanol enhanced in concentration. The azeotropic compound is fed from the ethanol vaporizer(8). During desorbing of water, the system is kept at 100-300 mm Hg of vacuum and microwave is irradiated alternately by switching wave guide(3) to regenerate the adsorbent. Desorbing media may be air heated up to 300 deg.C. and desorbed effluent is condensed at condenser(21).
