A chair for lecture is provided to make the position of a desk changed in the left and right direction and to prevent user's posture from being distorted continuously. A chair for lecture includes a seat portion, legs(2), a backplate(4), a support(3), a connection rod(7), a vertical pillar(6), a horizontal shaft portion, a desk plate fixing tool(9), a desk plate(8), and an armrest(13). The rear end portion of the connection rod is connected to the support and the connection rod extends in a front direction. The vertical pillar is connected to the front end of the connection rod, and extends in an upper direction. The horizontal shaft portion is connected to the upper end portion of the vertical pillar and extends in a rear direction. The desk plate fixing tool is coupled to the horizontal shaft portion to be capable of rotation in 180 degrees.
