<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure pressure detection accuracy by thawing quickly a pressure-sensitive surface even in an environment below the freezing point. <P>SOLUTION: This pressure detection device 1 equipped with a pressure-sensitive diaphragm 4 in a pressure detection chamber 3 detects a strain generated in the pressure-sensitive diaphragm 4 by a gas pressure, and outputs the result as an electric signal. In this case, a heater plate 6 is installed on a position contactable through water drops W, oppositely to the pressure-sensitive diaphragm 4.
