PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld joint method for a bolt, which enables the securement of the allowable strength of both bolts themselves connected by performing welding while allowing the eccentricity of the joint portion of the bolt, and which enables an improvement in workability during the erection of a steel frame and a reduction in its cost by applying the weld joint method for the bolt. SOLUTION: After a base 3, in which a tap through-hole 31 equal in diameter to a lower bolt 1 is drilled, is screwed into the head of the lower bolt 1 so as to be set in a prescribed position, the protruding head of the lower bolt 1 is cut in a position on the top surface of the base 3, and the top surface of the base 3 is smoothly finished.
