A DC-DC converter is provided to suppress a power loss at a gate terminal of a main NMOS transistor by decreasing a gate voltage at the gate terminal to be lower than an input source voltage. A DC-DC converter includes a main NMOS(Negative Metal Oxide Semiconductor) transistor(FET1), a driver(DVH1), a first capacitor(C1), and a first switching element(FET3). The main NMOS transistor serves as a main switching element. The driver drives a gate terminal of the main NMOS transistor. The first capacitor is connected between a source terminal of the main NMOS transistor and a source terminal of the driver. The first switching element is connected between an input voltage path and the source terminal of the driver. When the NMOS transistor is turned on, the first switching element is turned off. When the NMOS transistor is turned off, the first switching element is turned on.
