<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter having high hardness of a cured color region, a method for manufacturing the color filter, and a display device having the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a color filter is characterized in that a color region formed by dropping an ink containing at least an organic solvent, a colorant and an epoxy compound by an ink-jet system onto a substrate is dried at a low temperature of 40°C to less than 80°C, and then dried at a high temperature higher than the drying temperature of the low temperature drying to cure.
