ELECTRIC -FURNACE CONNECTOR

An electric-furnace connector relates to electric engineering and may be used in power electric heaters and electric machines. The connector includes a conductor and insulation. Insulation is made at least from one glass fabric stripe laid with gaps, fixed with help of glass filaments and twisted in the opposite direction or braided above with solid layer of glass filaments. The conductor is made from one or a number of twisted mild copper wires. The glass fabric strip is previously saturated with glyptal or organosilicon lacquer and caked together to form flexible solid electric insulating sheath. The connector is heat-resistant and stable to mechanical abrasion.
