PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derricking mechanism for a derricking member capable of certainly determining the state in which excessive winding is about to be generated in a derricking drum and certainly suppressing the excessive winding. SOLUTION: In the derricking mechanism 100, a control part 18 has function for stopping winding up action of the derricking drum 14 when an elevation angle of a boom 1 detected by an angle detector 17 exceeds a specified angle of a limitation angle or less and tension of a support rope 15a detected by a tension detector 16 exceeds a specified value.
