PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file management technology whereby a camera side can delete part of data or files among recorded data and a recording medium can efficiently be used. SOLUTION: In deleting an image file including image data generated by one recording form among a plurality of image files recorded by one photographing, attribute information of image files including image data recorded and produced by the other recording form is updated.
