PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a T-shape steel which is≥350 mm in the web height and≤200 mm in the flange width and suitable to hull reinforcing members at low cost by hot rolling. SOLUTION: This T-shape steel is a hot-rolled T-shape steel for hull reinforcing members which is≥350 mm in the web height, desirably,≥500 mm, also≤200 mm in the flange width and the apical surface of the web of which is a rolled surface reduced with rolling rolls.
