PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve shortening of retrieval time by making its search easy in searching a target business form file. SOLUTION: A text area of each image file is extracted and character recognition is performed (step S703) in an image file of business form stored in a folder according to a kind of a business form. Character information related to the text area to which character recognition is performed is saved in a character information reservation means (step S704), and the character information saved in the character information reservation means is compared between respective image files in the folder. A filename of each image file is changed based on the character information determined not in agreement between respective image files in the folder as a result of comparison (step S707).
