PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle for medical treatment capable of excellently reducing load in relation to a hip joint when working pedals and working the pedals without hindrance in an attached state of equipment to hold the hip joint at an externally turning position.

SOLUTION: This bicycle is suitable for performing a pedal working motion, while reducing load in relation to the hip joint and moving the hip joint at an attitude to hold the hip joint at the externally turning position, in medical treatment of a hip joint disease such as Perthes disease. Crankshaft 14 and hunger lug 15 are disposed in front of a vertical pipe 13 supporting a seat post 12 of a saddle 11 and at a position where a rider T can maintain his attitude in which femoral regions Td of the legs are directed to the substantial front when working the pedals 16 in a riding state of the rider T on the saddle 11, and thereby a load reducing attitude in which the weight is not added to the hip joint is held.
