<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connector device superior in insertion workability of a receptacle connector and a plug connector. <P>SOLUTION: In the connector device, a receptacle contact has an inverse U-shape part along the right and left side walls of a receptacle insulator and a connector leg to a substrate connecting to one end of the inverse U-shape part at the outside of the side wall and a U-shape groove-like conduction part connecting to the other end of the inverse U-shape part at the inside of the side wall, and a plug contact has a projected U-shape conduction part which is supported by right and left insertion walls of the plug insulator and is inserted to conduct into the U-shape groove-like conduction part of the receptacle contact and a connection leg to the substrate connecting to the projected U-shape conduction part. The right and left insertion walls of the plug insulator, when inserted inside the right and left side walls of the receptacle insulator, elastically deforms the U-shape groove-like conduction part of the receptacle contact in the direction separating from the side walls by the projected U-shape conduction part of the plug contact supported by the insertion wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
