<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storing device excellent in output characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In a lithium secondary cell, a positive electrode capable of occluding/discharging lithium and a negative electrode capable of occluding/discharging lithium are formed via electrolyte. The positive electrode contains conductive agent, binder and positive electrode active material containing active carbon, the positive electrode active material contains lithium composite oxide expressed by Li<SB>1+α</SB>Mn<SB>x</SB>Ni<SB>y</SB>Co<SB>z</SB>O<SB>2</SB>(x+y+z=1, 0<x≤1, 0<y≤1, 0<z≤1 and 0.01≤α≤0.3 are satisfied), and a contained amount in the positive electrode of the conductive agent is larger than that of the binder.
