An electrophysiology sensor chip having a substrate wherein the substrate has a through hole formed from the upper surface toward the lower surface, and the opening of the through hole is defined by a surface curved to the inside of the through hole from the upper and lower surfaces thereof. Consequently, an electrolyte (a first electrolyte and a second electrolyte) flows smoothly and sucks a specimen cell exactly, thereby enhancing the capture rate of the specimen cell.
