The machine has a guide, which extends to the entrance zone in the transporting band of the trimmer and interposing between the band and the unitary feeder of slates. Another transporting band is provided, which is aligned to the primary. The pieces are hit by the lateral guide at the end of the route by primary guide to fit perfectly in the lateral guide by own inertia of the pieces when they are displaced.
