PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide generally useful for the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis. SOLUTION: The peptide contains a common motif, "LGRAGLTY motif" (amino acid sequence: LeuGlyArgAlaGlyLeuThrTyr) so as to be detected by a T cell receptor which is a subset of a Vβ13.1T cell. A peptide having the same motif as the above motif can be vaccinated to patients to treat or prevent the autoimmune diseases related to the Vβ13.1-LGRAGLTY. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
