PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near-infrared shield having an excellent near-infrared shielding property, free of deterioration in its near-infrared absorptivity even after long-term storage and having an excellent light resistance. SOLUTION: The near-infrared shield includes a near-infrared absorption layer 2 and the near-infrared absorption layer 2 contains a diimonium compound containing a sulfonic acid imide derivative and a compound comprising a counterion conjunct of a substituted benzene dithiol metal complex anion and a cation.
