A toner container and a method for filling toner are provided to improve the filling efficiency of toner even if the diameter of a filling port of a small-sized toner container is small. A toner container includes at least toner filling port(17A) and a sealing member(18). The toner filling port(17A) is installed in a casing of the toner container. The sealing member(18) seals a toner inside the casing by covering the toner filling port(17A) and the peripheral surface of the toner filling port. The sealing member(18) includes a seal member. An adhesion part is provided in the vicinity of the toner filling port(17A). The sealing member(18) is transparent, so the color of the toner inside the casing is identified, and covers the toner filling port. |
