PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank-interior cleaning implement and a tank-interior cleaning method which can achieve resource saving compaired with conventional ones. SOLUTION: The tank-interior cleaning implement cleans a liquid storage tank, comprising a circulation passage of a liquid extracted from a water intake 1, has a cleaning hose 3 to be connected to the water intake 1 to make the negative pressure from the water intake 1 upon circulating liquid exert as the suction force into the tank through the cleaning hose 3. The tank-interior cleaning method, employed for cleaning the liquid storage tank which has the circulation passage of the liquid extracted from the water intake 1, keeps the cleaning hose 3 connected to the water intake 1 to make the negative pressure from the water intake 1 upon circulating liquid exert as the suction force into the tank through the cleaning hose 3.
