An electron emission display device is provided to suppress distortion of an electron beam passage around a spacer by maintaining temperatures of first and second substrate at the same level. A first substrate(10) and a second substrate(12) are opposite to each other. Electron emission portions(20) are formed on the first substrate, and driving electrodes are formed on the substrate to control electron emission of the electron emission portions. Phosphor layers are formed on a surface of the second substrate facing to the first substrate. Black layers(28) are formed between the phosphor layers, and anode electrodes(30) are positioned on the phosphor layers and the black layers. Hot wires are formed on the other surface of the second substrate to raise a temperature of the second substrate.
