New n-hetero and n-aryl-2-phenylacetamides and method of their preparation having a general formula (I) Formu l awherein Z represents 4-methyl pyrydine-2-yl, 5-methyl-pyrydine-2-yl, 2,4-dioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-pyrimidine-5-yl, 4,6-di-methoxy-pyrimidine-5-yl group, is characterized according to this invention in the reaction of chloride phenyl acetic acid with corresponding amines of the general formula (III) F o r m u l awhere Z represents aryl group as above mentioned, in the mixture of water and an organic solvent, or in a suitable organic solvent, in the presence of some acceptor of acid, at the temperature from 0°C to 50°C.
