LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE AND LIGHTING EQUIPMENT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency, long life, and low cost light emitting device prevented in the deterioration of an efficiency and improved heat diffusion property, and lighting equipment using the same.

SOLUTION: The lighting equipment has an LED mounting substrate 4 mounted with the LED element 12 for emitting short wave light, a housing 2 having a reflection plane 2a provided with a wave transforming member 3 in a recessed portion for emitting transformed light from the short wave light from the LED element 12, and an LED substrate supporting plate formed on the inner periphery of an opening of the housing making the inside plane of the supporting plate direct toward the bottom plane of the recessed portion. The LED mounting substrate 4 is mounted on the LED substrate supporting plate as the lighting plane of the LED element 12 directs toward the bottom plane of the reflection plane 2.
