The method involves having an engine (22), with a vent line (23) connected to it. A crankcase (24) is connected to an associated oil separator (26). The oil separator receives fresh air directly from an inlet manifold (28). The fresh air is added to a part load operation of the internal combustion engine. An independent claim is included for a crankcase ventilation part.
