POLYESTER FOR TONER

Disclosed is a polyester for toners which is obtained by condensation polymerizing an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component containing a (meth)acrylic acid-modified rosin. Also disclosed is a toner containing such a polyester for toners. The polyester for toners is used, for example, as a binder resin for toners which are used for developing a latent image formed in electrophotography, electrostatic recording, electrostatic printing and the like.
