PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin film for coating a laminated steel plate for a can, which is used by squeezing and drawing, and excellent in scratch resistance, a resin film-coated metal plate excellent in scratch resistance, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This resin film for metal plate coating is a film, which is a mixture of a rubber-like elastomer resin and at least three thermoplastic resins which are polyolefin copolymer resins containing not greater than 10 mass% of a unit containing epoxy group to a polyester resin of which intrinsic viscosity is prescribed, and is in a substantially not yet oriented condition having a structure of the rubber-like elastomer resin dispersed in the polyester resin, and its exposed area rate of rubber-like elastomer and/or the polyolefin copolymer resin at the center of the film thickness of the film contacting the metal plate and parallel to the metal surface is prescribed, and this resin film coated metal is prepared by using the film.
