PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating apparatus for asphalt capable of storing asphalt in a warm state. SOLUTION: An inlet at a top equipped with an exterior door freely closable and an outlet with a door freely closable at the side of a floor surface are provided for a storage tank having an oil heating means at the bottom of the storage tank. The oil heating means has a temperature control means for keeping a predetermined temperature. A hopper is formed at the inlet, and a first stage separating member for asphalt and a second stage separating member for further separating the asphalt already separated in a first stage are provided, thereby uniformly scattering the asphalt on the bottom surface.
