PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain low-voltage driving and display memory performance of an electrophoretic display device over a wide temperature range, by adjusting the floating particle dispersibility in particle fluid dispersion, over a wide temperature range. SOLUTION: The particle fluid dispersion, consisting of a dispersion medium containing one or more kinds of dispersant and at least one or more kinds of charged particle differing in color from the dispersion medium, is characterized in that the average particle diameter of the dispersant in the dispersion medium, measured by a dynamic scattering method, is within a range of 70 to 90 nm.
