DRAIN APPARATUS FOR WASHING MACHINE AND WASHING MACHINE HAVING THE SAME

A drain apparatus and a washing machine having thereof is provided to prevent vibration of a drain case from being transited to a washing machine housing and to prevent damage of the drain case by installing a vibration-proof support between the drain case and the washing machine housing for damping vibration of the drain case. A drain apparatus for a washing machine comprises a drain case(40), a drain pump, a washing machine housing(10), a vibration-proof support(80). The drain case has a pump chamber wherein water is flowed into. The drain pump is connected with the pump chamber. The vibration-proof support is installed between the drain case and the washing machine housing to prevent vibration of the drain case from being transited to the washing machine housing. A resonance chamber is formed in the vibration-proof support to reduce transmission of vibration. A plurality of resonance chambers are formed at a center part of the vibration-proof support and a periphery of the center part of the vibration-proof support.
